Rev. Dennis Plourde is the pastor of First Baptist Church in
Mountlake Terrace since April 20, 2007. |

By unanimous vote on Sunday, March 25, the members of the church
extended and Dennis accepted the call to be the new pastor of First
Baptist. Pastor Dennis' first official worship was Sunday, April
22nd. He and his wife, Diane, have already found housing in the
area, moving here from Pasadena, California. |

The congregation is truly excited and eagerly looking forward to working
together in this new ministry and the opportunities that lie ahead.

We are grateful for all the hard work, time and the Spirit's leading of
the Search Team involved in the selection of the Plourdes. To
Chrystal Cooper, as Chair, and to all the members of the Team: Al Ackley, Tom Dickison,
Charlotte Erickson, Mary Ellen Harris and Jim Little, we thank you. This
includes the support and oversight provided by our Executive Minister,
Marcia Patton. It has been a long process!
